Lynskey has completely redesigned their ProCross cyclocross frame. New on the 2010 model is their Helix downtube, an ovalized/oversized/flattened top tube to make it easier to carry and a new “plate style” chainstay on the driveside to maximize clearance during really sloppy races.
The frame is Lynskey’s race-tuned 3AL/2.5V titanium tubeset and prices start at $2,295 for the frame and go all the way up to $5,295 for full custom.

The Helix downtube supposedly increases bottom bracket stiffness.
The “plate” in the right chainstay keeps gunk from slowing down your gears.
Replaceable derailleur hanger…always a good idea on bikes designed to take abuse.
Slight S-bends in the seat stays offer some compliance while improving mud clearance and allowing for some pretty wide tires.  Lynskey says this frame is not just a road frame with brake mounts…it’s designed ground up for the rigors of cyclocross.  On that note, Lynskey offers a lifetime guarantee on their frames for the original owner, and all custom orders are guaranteed to perform as intended.
Now, here’s a video on how they make these frames, thick with the TN accent from their headquarters in Chatanooga.
