De Soto has updated their 400-Mile bib short with improved fit, comfort and their new Compressor double legband.
The new 400-Mile pad floats and stretches, making it good for triathlon (floats) and on the bike, stretching with each pedal stroke to stay in consistent contact with your skin rather than rubbing back and forth. This eliminates friction that could otherwise cause irritation. It also has antibacterial properties to keep the funk at bay.
The bib shorts are an 11-panel design with Carrera Pique abdomen panel with piping for flexibility and comfort on longer riders. It has no leg gripper to bind around the thighs. Instead, it uses their new Forza Compressor material to support the muscles and minimize vibrations that may cause early fatique. They also incorporate their mesh/spandex blend (called Liquid Mesh) to keep you cool and to help the shorts maintain their shape and elasticity even when wet. The material has very low drag, making it ideal for swimming, too.
Lastly, they have three pockets: One on each leg sized for a gel pack or small MP3 player and one in the back. Hit ‘more’ to see the shorts…
