Prologo has used their CPC material on saddles for years, providing riders with better grip and reduced fatigue caused by vibrations. Now, they’re adding it to their new Energrip Team gloves to give your hands the same advantage.
Like the saddles, the size and density of the CPC material’s tiny, 3D-printed polymer shapes vary across the surface. This let them customize the function based on where it was used, giving more cushioning under the palms with slimmer grip on the braking fingertips.
The CPC nubs also vary in shape, some being cone-like, and some in diamond patterns. Prologo says this lets it absorb different frequencies of vibration, and the more vibration it can damp, the less fatigued you’ll feel on a long ride.
Electromyography studies by the Performance Centre of the University Of Besançon showed that the CPC used by the Energrip absorbs 10% more vibration than a non-CPC palm.
