Rudy Project Noyz 2009 model sunglasses for cycling and bicycle riding and racing, even triathlon, running, cross country skiing and golf eye protection

Rudy Project has released a new model that incorporates what works from the various sports they’re involved in (skiing, golf, running and, of course, cycling).  It’s called Noyz, and it’s what you’ll usually see on Ivan Basso and many of the Milram riders.

From the press release: “I’m proud of all the models Rudy Project provides, but I really believe the new Noyz is a tape‐measure home run for elite athletes and sport enthusiasts alike,” said Paul Craig, President and Co‐Founder of Rudy Project North America. “We have many sport models and some perform better in Nordic skiing and road biking, while other models are better suited for running, triathlon and golf. What I love about the Noyz is the perfect versatility of the design and lens selection, making it not only able to perform in all sports, but perform at the highest level in all sports.”

The Noyz is comfortable and lightweight, designed with techno‐geometric mathematics for exceptional performance. This wraparound sunglass incorporates all of Rudy Project’s core features for unsurpassed protection, superior optical ratings and unbelievable comfort: ultra‐light Grilamid® chassis, QuickChange™ interchangeable lenses, new co‐injected ErgoIV™ fully adjustable nosepiece, and 360° adjustable temple tips in hypoallergenic Megol®.

Mounted with Rudy Project’s new Photochromic Clear ImpactX™ lenses, the Noyz ensures unparalleled wraparound protection and enhanced visual clarity for top performance, in any condition. Additionally, paired with our popular Photochromic Red ImpactX lenses, the Noyz gives the wearer sharp images in bright, mixed or low light conditions. You can also mount the Noyz with the ImpactX Photo Polarized lens, our premiere lens technology, which was recently named to Outside Magazine’s “Gear of the Year” list for its ability to provide amazing polarized protection while allowing the wearer to read any LCD readout. In the end, the Noyz is a lightweight, functional, super‐stylish sunglass that the company expects to be a top seller in 2009.

“The Noyz are incredible! When I race Xterra, the adjustability of the ear and nose pieces keep them perfectly positioned where I want them while biking and running,” added Shonny Vanlandingham, XTERRA National Champion and world‐class mountain bike champion. “Even though I had only worn them for the week leading into the US National Championship, it felt like I had worn them my whole career.”

The Noyz is also prescription‐ready, either with our ‘easy‐in‐easy‐out’ patented RX insert, or direct, with the revolutionary ImpactRXâ„¢ FreeForm TEKâ„¢ program powered by Eyepoint digital freeform technology for the most precise RX available.
