The new Genuine Innovations X-Mount, as co-designed by Niner’s Dejay Birch, holds a threaded CO2 canister with their screw-on inflator tip positioned on a small nub to keep it tight (shown after the break). The tip threads on just enough to hold it on the canister without puncturing it, keeping everything ready to go in an emergency race situation.
Also new are 20g canisters called Fat 20, which Birch says are perfect for a 29er tire. The 25g shown above are good for about a tire and a half.
