Ask and you shall receive, right? That’s exactly what happened with the latest stem from PAUL Component Engineering – as long as you were asking for a 35mm stem. That’s 35mm in length, not clamp diameter in case you’re wondering.
Fans of the PAUL aesthetic and legendary made-in-the-USA quality now have a shorter option when it comes to their Boxcar stem. Developed after repeated requests from mountain bikers for a shorter version of their popular stem, the 35mm option is precision machined from 2024 aluminum and clamps onto the bars with stainless T25 Torx bolts.
Available in the usual black, high polished, and raw silver, the Boxcar is now available in 0° rise stems in 35, 50, 70, and 90mm lengths. It’s also available in +/-15° in 70 and 90mm lengths. The 35mm stem has a claimed weight of 118g, and sells for $123 in black or silver, and $135 for the high polished. Available now.
