That’s right, just when you thought you were doing “just fine” in the bar end plug area of your life. In comes the machining bike nerds from Chico, California, to throw the proverbial monkey wrench into your bar-end life. Introducing the last bar end plug you’ll probably ever need, the Paul Components BËP (Bar End Plug).

These things are functional art. I’ve been rocking a pair of the BËP on my Wilde Rambler SL for a little over a month, and they look pretty sick. I’m not 100% positive, but I feel faster, and the bike feels lighter, after installing these.

Just kidding, stop typing!

But seriously, they installed effortlessly, and look amazing. I will go out on a limb and say that it is my humble opinion that these are the nicest bar-end plugs on the market. And they’ll, more than likely, last foorreeevvvveeerrr.

They are 100% machined in sunny Chico, California. That includes the aluminum expanding wedge, so once properly tightened down, they won’t come loose or fall out while riding the rough stuff.

These are available in every anodized color on the Paul Comp website. That would be Black, Purple, Silver, Pewter, Red, Gold, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, or Hand Polished. I’m rocking the orange color.

I wish they came in a bronze/copper color. They would be an instant upgrade for my Rogue.

Great. More overpriced Paul stuff I don’t need but will probably buy anyway.

I think these are super cool! Nice repurposing of the Klamper adjustment knobs. Super low development costs and a perfect match if you are rocking his brakes. Smart move Paul!
