Pit Viper started as a sunglass company rebranding surplus military glasses with bold 80s-inspired colors and designs. Over the years, the brand’s quality and performance have steadily increased, and its product lineup has expanded significantly. One thing that hasn’t really changed, however, is the bold, in-your-face style that Pit Viper is known for.
While you can still buy Pit Viper Original sunglasses, they make a range of eye protection, including goggles for both mountain bike and motocross riders. For fall, they have updated the budget-friendly Brapstrap and launched the all-new World Champion goggle models. Let’s check ‘em out.
Pit Viper Brapstrap Goggles

We covered the original Brapstrap goggle when it came out back in 2022. Pit Viper tells us the new version maintains the soul of the original, but is “new and improved.” Compared to the original, the new version has a slightly different shape for a wider field of vision, a removable nose guard, and anti-fog five-layer face foam for comfort and sweat wicking. The goggles are designed “to fit seamlessly with helmets,” and all of the lenses include pegs for tear-off compatibility.
The Brapstrap also comes in two frame sizes to fit varying facial structures. Perhaps the best part is that the new Brapstrap retails for $50 or $60, depending on the frame color and lens combination. Spare clear lenses are $20, and a 14-pack of Brapstrap Tear-Offs goes for $30. The polycarbonate lenses provide 100% UVA and UVB protection.

Brapstrap Color Options
- Merika: White splatter frame with US Flag-inspired strap, Grey lens with blue reflective coating (14% VLT)
- Miami Nights: White frame with white/black strap, Grey lens with bronze reflective coating (14% VLT)
- Reign In Mud: Black/gold splatter frame, Black/gold splatter strap with red, Grey lens with black coating (14% VLT)
- The Exec: Black frame, black/white strap, Clear lens (99% VLT)
Pit Viper World Champion Goggles

The all-new World Champion goggles are reportedly “built to dominate the podium.” This is a more premium option that was “designed for athletes competing at the highest level of supercross.” The frames have a wide field of view and frame outriggers for a seamless fit with full-face helmets. Each pair comes with a tinted/reflective lens and a bonus clear lens with Pit Viper’s Interlocking Lens Technology for easy lens swaps. The lenses are roll-off and tear-off compatible, and the frame comes with a removable nose guard.
The World Champion Goggle comes in one frame size and retails for $120. A spare clear lens will set you back $20, and a 14-pack of compatible lens tera-offs goes for $30. The impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses provide protection from 100% of harmful UVA and UVB rays.
