Here’s some quick news from Portland Design Works (PDW) for both the commuters and drop bar riders out there. PDW just launched a new mirror, the Watch Your Back Mirror XL. This mirror joins the already existing, smaller drop bar Watch Your Back Bar-End Mirror. Both of these mirrors will help you ride with more awareness of the dangers that are around and behind you.
Mirrors aren’t dorky. But you know what is dorky? Not keeping an eye on the motorists behind you, that’s dorky. So, throw away the negative stigma that bicycle mirrors tend to carry.
Look, having eyes in the back of your head would be nice when commuting in traffic or riding on a road with no shoulder. But, we don’t have eyes on the back of our heads, do we? No, we don’t.
