Revolution Suspension Grips is branching out from the grip game with a new prototype aluminum stem. Initially dubbed the Pro Series, these all mountain and enduro-focused stems feature a trick set of mounts. The top of the stem can handle a Go Pro-style mount for using lights or an action cam, while the bottom of the stem has a hidden bell mount. In our opinion, though, the beautiful machining and anodizing is enough to make us want it.

The RevGrips crew is best know for their twisty and grippy suspension grips, which we’re fans of. However, they’re branching out in to new territory with the new Pro Series Stem, which is still in the development phase.

The first thing we noticed was the stunning machining and anodizing of the 7075 alloy stem body.

If you notice the two little circles on the top of the stem – that’s where you can mount up a Go Pro-compatible adapter, able to carry a light or action cam. The bottom of the stem will have a similar mount to hold a small bell to help alert people and animals that you’re coming in hot on the trail.

RevGrips expects the stems to become available later this year, initially offered in 40 and 50mm lengths and a 3-degree rise. For now, they’ll have a 31.8mm clamp diameter, but they’re testing the waters for 35mm, to see if demand warrants a second option.
