Rockshox Flight Attendant Upgrade Kits now Available

The Rockshox Flight Attendant suite of wireless electronic suspension components and sensors is now available aftermarket, with Trail, All-Mountain and Enduro Upgrade Kits available for select mountain bikes. Riders of certain Specialized, Trek, YT and Canyon Mountain Bikes will be able to benefit from Flight Attendant’s ability to automatically switch the fork and rear shock between Open, Pedal and Lock Mode as it responds to both rider and terrain inputs.

Rockshox Flight Attendant Upgrade Kits

Each Flight Attendant Upgrade Kit comprises a Fork, Shock, Shock Hardware, Pedal Sensor, 2 Batteries and a Charger. The Upgrade Kits are Bike Brand, Model and Year specific, and are currently available for the following bikes:

• 2019-2022 Canyon Spectral
• 2023 Canyon Spectral:ON
• 2021-2022 Canyon Neuron 29
• 2020-2022 Specialized Enduro
• 2021-2022 Trek Slash
• 2022 YT Capra 29
• 2019-2022 YT Jeffsy

While it may be tempting to purchase an Upgrade Kit for a bike not in the above list, Rockshox do not recommend it primarily for rear shock fitment concerns. The specific rear shocks in these Upgrade Kits have been verified to fit the frames, and are themselves tuned specifically to the bike’s kinematic.

In the case of the Canyon Neuron, for example, the Trail Upgrade Kit comprises a Rockshox Pike Ultimate Flight Attendant Fork, a RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate Flight Attendant Shock, a Rockshox Fender, a SRAM AXS DUB Pedal Sensor, 2 x SRAM AXS Batteries and a SRAM AXS Battery Charger.

The All-Mountain Upgrade Kit comprises the same parts list (with the bike-specific rear shock), but the Pike Ultimate Flight Attendant is replaced by the Lyrik Ultimate Flight Attendant Fork. The Enduro Upgrade Kit includes the ZEB Ultimate Flight Attendant Fork. While we did spot a Specialized Enduro rocking a Rockshox Flight Attendant Coil Shock at EWS Tweed Valley, that upgrade kit is not yet on the table.

You may note the absence of a Rocker 2 Button Left Controller; this isn’t essential to the functioning of the system. That said, it does allows you to cycle through suspension positions, overriding Flight Attendant. And, if your bike has a RockShox Reverb AXS Dropper Post, it can operate that too.
