A lot was going on at the MADE Show this year. There were so many cool bikes and bike bits to cover. I took a ton of random photos that I thought you guys might enjoy, so I put some of the better ones in this roundup.

I also have a few shots of my favorite “Klunker”, the Breadwinner Roaring 29er. It’s a beautiful bike with really nice colors and super clean lines. I also snapped a few shots of White Industries’ new seat collar and center lock rotor lock rings.

White Industries‘ Lock Rings & Seat Collar Prototype

The crew at White Industries showcased two new, beautifully machined additions to their comprehensive line of high-quality, shiny bike bits. Their new Seat Collar is still in its prototype stage. Availability for the Seat Collar is expected sometime in December, as they finalize prices, sizes, and colors.

Their new rotor Lock Rings are coming much sooner, with an expected release around mid-September. There will be both internal and external splines available. Pricing on these beauts will be $26.50 each.

If you remember, I told you I would report back on the Limited Release of the Block 15 Jade Buzzworks West Coast IPA. I’m no professional, and I know what I like and don’t. And… Well, I really liked it. It had a nice complex flavor that wasn’t too busy. I feel that some small breweries add flavors to their IPAs for the sake of adding flavors. This didn’t taste like that. It was an easy drinker that would be great with some street tacos after a hot summer ride.

Love the MB1! I still ride a frankenbiked MB2 (700c wheels, mustache bars, single speed with track dropouts). At last year’s MADE show I got into a conversation with another attendee about Bridgestone bikes.

Japanese steel is real! I have an ’88 RB2 that I’ve bunnyhopped 1000s of times and done plenty of trail riding hitting some softball sized rocks and watching the fork flex. All-time bikes!

I should probably mention I run my RB2 single speed as well. Not the sharpest handling, but bombproof.
I honestly don’t think carbon road bikes of today could stand up to what I’ve thrown at that bike

Those Wheels MFG rear narrow-wide sprockets look awesome, bit pricey though

Thanks for the pics, Ron!! That Breadwinner paint job seems to be channeling Chris Chance’s creations of yore!
