These days, we’re incredibly fortunate that most full suspension mountain bikes all work quite well. It wasn’t always that way. A lot of good, and not so good, mountain bikes paved the way for the modern performance we all take for granted. For 30 years now, GT Bicycles has been pushing the limits of bicycle suspension, which is all documented in “Full Travel: GT’s Suspension Development Story.”
A film by Pipeline Digital Media, Full Travel is the work of filmmakers Todd Huffman and Don Hoffman, who were both employed by GT in the 1990’s. Now, they’re back to tell the GT suspension story with some of the sport’s biggest names who also helped pave the way like Juli Furtado, Mike King, Eric Carter, Jim Busby (inventor of LTS, RTS, iDrive, etc), Martin Maes, Hans Rey and more.
The film will be shown for the first time tonight, and for one night only, at 8pm EST. To catch it, just head to the GT facebook page tonight to watch it live. Can’t make the premier? It should be available for 24hrs on the GT facebook page, after which it will be broken down into individual episodes and posted to their youtube channel in the near future.
