The Polish independent game studio Punch Punk, makers of the Apocalipsis games, released their free demo of the Bike Mechanic Simulator 2023. We talked a bit about this back in 2022, but you can play the demo that’s now available on the Steam Platform (see the game trailer below).
The full version of The Bike Mechanic Simulator 2023 for PCs is planned for the second half of the year. Later the simulator is said to be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch consoles.
The Steam Platform already offers a free demo of the Simulator which introduces the game to its users. In the demo, the creator gives the player three bikes (each in 2-3 variants), and the gameplay is limited to a time within which you can do various random jobs”.
The Bike Mechanic Simulator 2023 is a “realistic simulator where you can learn the ropes of the bike mechanic and progress in running your shop”.
Gameplay is said to involve repairing, servicing, and assembling bikes to completion for each job, as well as maintaining the shop, tools, and repair stand.
Tomasz Sobiecki, CEO of Manager Games S.A. says, “While the demo is being out now, we’re looking forward to hearing from the players whose opinions are also the valuable source for further game development. The full version of Bike Mechanic Simulator 2023 will be packed with more content, and each of the elements will be scrutinized and enhanced. Our main objective is that the game is not only a realistic simulator but also good entertainment and something to chill at. For this reason, Bike Mechanic Simulator 2023 will, to some extent, as far as the mechanic job is concerned, be simplified”.
Having a storyline that will evolve around various events regarding the renovation of antique bicycles, the final version of the game’s core theme will be the expansion of the shop to one with multiple rooms while growing your tool collection.
They say that the player, as the mechanic, will be working on a wide range of bikes like city bikes, mountain bikes, and road bikes, each with dozens of various components.
