With cross season all but wrapped up, your CX bike might be going into hibernation. But with the VonHof ACX, it’s built so that it doesn’t have to. Built around race ready CX geometry, VonHof made sure to add in a few features that will keep you riding the ACX year ’round, whether you’re talking gravel or CX.

Using their aluminum CX bike as a starting point, the ACX jumps in with a Columbus steel build features a proprietary top tube shaped for shouldering, and a Bi-oval downtube for stiffness. Fitted with standards like flat mount disc tabs in the rear, a threaded T47 BB, and a 1.5″ tapered head tube, the frame is built to accept up to 40mm tires which should extend its range beyond the CX course.

Equipped with 12mm thru axles front and rear, the ENVE fork up front still runs post mount brakes.

Built with very similar geometry to their aluminum CX bike including BB drop and HT angle, the ACX is certainly geared towards CX racing though it should be perfectly adequate for gravel adventures.

I know this is off topic but can someone tell me the deal with HiFi wheels prices? They just look like some private label carbon from asia with PL hubs for Zipp prices. I can lace up some Light Bicycle rims with Sapim Lasers, brass nipples, and a middle road hub for what they’re charging for ALU doesn’t seem to make sense.

Or buy some off chain reaction for under a grand. Yeah I don’t get it either.

… and every other wheel looks super unique? the bicycle wheel has been made up of the same boring components for a very long time. i dont think there are enough visual differences to determine the quality of a wheel through a picture. you know? cause this is definitely the first wheel to have black hubs, black spokes, black nipples and black rims.

Don’t know why it’s taking so long for Enve to come out with flat mount forks.

That is, flat mount to fit large 40mm tires.

If they want riders to use this bike all year, how about some mounts for fenders & other stuff? Leave the “race only” minimalism for the carbon guys…
