Wattbike announced their latest high-end indoor training bike, the Atom. It’s compatible with their own Wattbike Hub app, along with popular third-party apps such as Zwift and TrainingPeaks. Using Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity, you can keep track of all your metrics – and race with your friends around the globe.

While their original Pro/Trainer indoor bike had plenty of capability, Wattbike has upped the ante to offer all of the modern capabilities you’d expect in the new Atom. Adding third-party app control and wireless firmware updates, it gives full automatic operation and power regulation with apps like Zwift – or their own Wattbike Hub app.

The bike itself uses magnetic resistance, and a power range of 40 – 2,000 watts (accuracy within 2%). It has 22 gears, along with a 0 – 25% gradient adjustment.

Total footprint for the bike is 100cm (l) × 50cm (w) × 150cm (aerobar & tablet holder fully extended), with a weight of 97 lbs.

You get micro adjustment of both the handlebar and saddle, but cranks are limited to a single length – 170mm. The overall recommended rider height range is 5’0″ to 6’5″, with a maximum rider weight of 135kg (300lbs).

The Wattbike Atom is available now throughout the US for $2,599, including free delivery and a 2-year warranty.
