Long time freerider & Kali athlete Jordie Lunn has been hard at work sending it deep into the wilderness of Vancouver Island. Fresh lines and sometimes no lines, not many people are out pushing it like Jordie. You really don’t see guys out backflipping long travel bikes in the woods that much. Good thing he’s got a helmet sponsor. “I built all these lines last winter and into this spring. Summer was coming up quick and I wanted to get shooting but couldn’t find anyone available to work with me. So I started going out and riding the lines, just testing mainly, shooting GoPro POV and still angles with my DSLR. The end result was this edit…pretty rough, not the most professional, but some fun lines on Vancouver Island.”
Flip past the jump for more with Jeff Kendall throwing it down in the Colorado mountains, and then a glimpse of Brendan Fairclough and Clay Porter pairing up for Deathgrip to come..
Jeff Kendall-Weed has been out riding the rock falls and forest single tracks of Telluride, CO with Ibis & Kitsbow. Sitting high in the San Juan Mountains, between Durango and Fort Collins, the town is surrounded on three sides by 13,000’+ rocky peaks, forming a unique landscape reminiscent of the Alps. Grab your favorite beverage and experience the trails and views of the San Juans with Jeff in A Day in Telluride.
For the past two years, rider Brendan Fairclough and filmmaker Clay Porter have traveled to every inhabited continent on the planet with a simple goal: to show the world a new vision of mountain biking. Joined by a who’s-who of the most progressive and influential riders of a generation, the pair have released a first glimpse tease of their tale and officially announce their upcoming mountain bike ride film – Deathgrip.
Deathgrip will make its world premiere in Fairclough’s home city of London in April of 2017. The film will then head off on a global tour including a North American premiere at Sea Otter, before its global digital release on April 25, 2017 – the day before track walk for the first DH World Cup of 2017.
