Back in April, Richie Trimble got quite a bit of attention for riding a Huffy modified into a 14.5′ tall bike called Stoopidtall.
Now, he’s topped that by almost six feet with the Stoopidtaller. Coming in at 20 feet 2.5 inches at the handlebar and weighing about 275 pounds, the new bike is said to be the tallest bicycle in the world.
It rides on 36″ wheels, uses eight full length bicycle chains and parts of a Monster Beach Cruiser. He built it over four days, then took to the streets of Los Angeles on December 28th.
Climb past the break for more photos from the inaugural ride…
With all those GoPro’s in action, we’re hoping the video from atop the saddle makes its way to YouTube soon! In the meantime, check out more photos on their Facebook page and details Stoopidtall.com.
This is just plain Stoopid! 🙂
why didn’t he use 650b’s?
yeah, but does it wheelie?
how’d he up there? is there a step past the last obvious one (at the top of the “A”)?
I’m sure helmets are rated for 20 foot falls

@ve: He didn’t even wear a helmet at all on the original Stoopidtall. Also, I would imagine his other organs would need protection as well. As mentioned previously, perhaps a parachute would do a better job.
Whoa. He better put some bar plugs in there…he’s liable to hurt himself if he goes down.
Outstanding.
It’s pathetic when people slap their name on some 20′ tallbike open mold from China and call it a DIY project. We know about hongfu too!
This is funny. My daughter sent me the link to this website and asked me to get this for her for Christmas. Yea right! The only thing this bike is missing is a bicycle noise maker. Put some cards in the spokes!
Mike Mooney FTW!
“papa, it’s now 2014 and there’s still plenty of stupid left”- my 10yr old.

Has he ever taken a tumble?
If so, how many bones did he break?
