YT’s Capra is once again Uncaged with a no-nonsense – and even more affordable – bikepark shredding mullet build for the popular enduro bike, now for the first time with either an AL aluminum or CF carbon frame to suit any budget. Almost as affordable as YT’s entry Core builds, the 170mm travel Capra Uncaged 10 gets upgraded with Fox DHX Performance coil suspension and a 38 Performance fork, a special edition paint job, and a bulletproof component spec to keep you shredding steep tracks and sending it off big hits…

YT already offers a pretty solid value with their latest Core 1 & 2 builds of the alloy Capra MK3 enduro bike, but their Uncaged bikes take it to a next level. And now Capra Uncaged 10 bikes are even more affordable vs. v9 thanks to less-exotic but still solid performer Fox suspension, now making the carbon Uncaged even more affordable than last year’s alloy Capra Uncaged

While top-tier bike builds often go for fancy bits like electronic shifting, extra-shiny suspension & lightweight components, YT Uncaged builds are more utilitarian – simple drivetrains with derailleurs you could afford to replace after a big crash, mid-tier Fox Performance suspension with the linear support of a coil shock, and solid trusted alloy component specs including wheels and tires built to survive a proper thrashing.

And now with the option for alloy or carbon MX frames, each built up with the same burly Uncaged spec, there’s a killer new bikepark-ready enduro build whether you prefer the more affordable ride of hydroformed aluminum or the snappy feel of smooth carbon.

Both YT Capra Uncaged 10 bikes – in carbon or aluminum – are the mullet variant of the latest 3rd generation Capra. That means you get a 29″ front wheel, 27.5″ rear wheel, slightly shorter rear end, and matched 170mm of travel front & rear. Both versions of the asymmetric frame feature integrated protectors to keep your bike looking fresh and smashing trails quietly, long travel YT dropper posts, plus an included Thirstmaster 6000 water bottle & tool cage mounts.
