Maxxis’ MaxxLite grows into a 29er size with a weight of just 345g for a 29×2.0. It’s a dry conditions race-only tire with a 170tpi casing, dual compound rubber, Silkworm Breaker puncture protection and really low knobs with a very consistent center tread section.
The new Rouler is a road race tire with a 120tpi casing and the Silkworm breaker. The tread on the sides is fairly aggressive for a race tire and is a softer compound than the center section for improved cornering traction. It’s available in all black and an assortment of colors, including white. Weight is 200g for 700x23c.
The Padrone is their new, first and only Road Tubeless tire. It has a butyl inner liner like their LUST mountain bike tubeless tires with a 120tpi casing, dual compound tread and a carbon folding bead surrounded by a bead cushion to fill the rim’s bead socket.
It’s available only in a 700x23c size that’s 300g with some puncture protection.
Lastly, they have a new modular valve stem and tube system that combines their specific tubes with several sizes of extensions that replace the typical valve stem. It only works with their tubes, but it let’s you get the length you want (60, 80 or 100mm) and colors to match your bike.
