Paria clothing lifestyle shot
Paria Cycling apparel is a new clothing company based in Leeds, England who is bringing a sense of urban flair to the cycling world with their outside-the-box designs. After checking out their wares it won’t surprise you that company owner and avid cyclist Sam Morgan is somewhat of an anti-conformist, stating in his press release “I’m that guy who stands out in the group. Not always for the right reasons, but what the hell? Who wants to blend in?”

Paria does not have their own in-house designers, but instead they collaborate with creative minds like tattoo artists and illustrators from all over the world to produce their apparel. The clothing is manufactured in Italy, and while style is obviously a key factor for Paria they take their products seriously- no compromises on technical aspects and quality are made in the name of fashion. Currently Paria offers a selection of men’s and women’s jerseys with some pretty unique designs.

Check out some of Paria’s signature style plus Search and State’s new leg warmers after the break…

For men, the Summer of ’88 jersey has an old-school flavour with those classic 80’s stripes. The jersey is made of Coolmax and Mondrian fabrics, has a semi-covered full length zipper and flat seams. Silicone bands in the sleeves and bottom hem hold it in place, and the jersey has three rear pockets including one that zips shut. Paria’s ‘T-Rex’ fit provides a snug hug for race-ready aerodynamics, so you can win the race and the best dressed award. The Summer of ’88 jersey will cost you €88 ($98 USD), and comes in M-XXL sizes.

The Chain Gang jersey is a little brighter and louder, but not funkier. The jersey is made from Italian MICRO moisture wicking fabric with an antimicrobial treatment to keep you smelling of roses. The fabric is soft and stretchy for all day comfort, and the jersey also features a full front zipper, three back pockets and silicone grippers inside the waist. The Chain Gang sells for €55 ($62), in sizes M-XXL. These two jerseys are just a sampling of Paria’s men’s line, so check out their website to see more.

Paria women's EDK jersey, front Paria women's EDK jersey, back

There’s also a couple of stylish jerseys for the ladies, with some priceless names to boot. The most radical looking ironically has the most plain-sounding name, called the EDK Cycling jersey. The jersey features a leopard print design and is constructed with Coolmax side panels and sleeves. It also has three rear pockets with a zippered middle, flat seams, silicone waist grippers and a semi-covered full front zipper.

The ‘Droplet Like It’s Hot’ jersey and the “C Word Cycling Jersey” share the same materials and construction as the EDK jersey, but have much more entertaining model names. The designs are both all-over prints, so we’re just going to show you the fronts here. All three women’s jerseys sell for €65 ($73) and are available in S-XL sizes.

Search and State S1-LW leg warmers, rider

Search and State- S1-LW Leg Warmers

In 2012, Search and State launched from the heart of NYC’s historic garment district. The company keeps all design work in-house, and seeks to produce the best possible cycling clothing for riding and hanging out after. With the release of their new S1-LW leg warmers, SAS now offers a complete head-to-toe all-season riding outfit.

The new leg warmers are designed to be durable, light weight, and comfortable. They feature dual locking zippers at the ankle closures and wide gripper elastics for a solid fit that stays put, and are made from the same soft fabric as the company’s arm warmers but in a heavier weight. The leg warmers are thin enough to stuff in a jersey pocket when not needed, and feature a logo on the left leg that matches up with Search and State’s arm warmers. The S1-LW’s come in black only, and S/M/L sizes are available. MSRP is $85 USD.

I am too distracted by the über cliché beard-and-fauxhawk hairdo to even see the Pariah clothes underneath.

Only thing worse than hipster stuff is expensive hipster stuff.

that’s a pompadour not a faux hawk but when you added to a stupid hipster beard it looks just as dumb. but the kit however doesn’t look as cliche as a guy wearing it… still at those prices I just stick with my Gore Bike Wear

Still it is good to see what the stuff looks like on someone with a a more average body shape rather that a starved grinning gym jockey.

It’s good to see the jersey has, not only, pockets at the back, but a waist compartment at the front for carrying a spare tube… at least, that’s what it looks like!
