Predator Cycling The Major Track carbon fiber one-piece handlebar and stem

They started with road drop bars, fusing an FSA stem and handlebar into a one-piece system. Then they morphed it into a mountain bike system, working with Cannondale’s OPI Lefty format even. Now, Predator Cycling’s Aram Goganian is taking his carbon construction to the track with the new Major Track Bars.

The big difference here is that it’ll be 100% made in house. Aram’s just wrapping up the alloy molds, which will be used to form the Major Track all in house in their Los Angeles area factory. It was designed there, too, hence the unique shape…

These are renderings, final shape and details may change a bit, but look for a weight around 350g and a price around $750 to $800, give or take. You’ll likely have stem length and bar width options since they’re all handmade. They should start shipping in March.

Aram also hinted that road and mountain versions will follow.

These remind me of the silly sphinx bars I took off my TK2. Hopefully they aren’t as flexy as those were.

The Sphinx bar was to provide a solution to a position problem (originally just for one athlete, Cam Meyer). Hard to see what these offer other than a sexy shape.

What’s not to like? He once built me a 210g road version, very state-of-the-art.

Why would they jump from not having tooling finished, no prototypes or testing, all the way to shipping in roughly one month?! Take your time fellas, do some testing, then show off your fusion 360 renderings… And maybe actual images!

Aram has been working on this project for a long time. He’s a smart guy for sure. Fun to talk to him about this and other projects he is working on.
