Until now, elite bottle hand-up security systems existed only in the realm of the most elite World Tour athletes or for those able to afford their equipment. But no longer! For those who want to take hand-ups like the pros but don’t have the cash, Kogel High Quality Bearings has developed an elite level, secure hand-up bottle system with a weekend warrior price tag. Are you looking to up your hand-up game? Grab-on to this ultra accessible top of the line system after the jump.

Utilizing an elite adhesive system developed by none other than 3M, Kogel has perfected a secure bond between rider and bottle. Concerned about connecting with your team car? The system is not only ultra effective but, according to Magic Watts ambassador Sem Gallegos, highly intuitive in testing with riders and team managers’ left hands. Also, according to the Kogel website, “testing has shown to increase power output anywhere between 150 and 300+bhp, depending on team car.”

But this versatile system isn’t limited to the road. In mountain testing, the system claims a 68% advantage over other bottle security systems. The optional hose kit, developed in parallel with the system could, in our opinion, could be innovative enough to make all existing BTA systems obsolete.

Kogel bearings CEO Ard Kessels has stated that he “could not be more excited” about the Magic Watts bottle. “We are currently speaking with parties outside the bike industry to find more applications for this new technique. We have only scratched the surface of what is possible with this new adhesive.”

The Magic Watts system is available now through the Kogel Bearings website. MSRP $99.99.

So…you click the link, click “add to cart”, click “checkout” and you can actually pay. When does the joke end? Or do you actually get sent a $100 water bottle with duct tape on it? Guess it would serve you right!

I clicked checkout and payed hehehe… and the joke is still on me because I still have the charge on my credit card. But the guys from Kogel are amazing, they sent me an email that says that they are going to refund the charge and will send me one water bottle and some duck tape for free, because I was the only dummy that actually bought the magic watts system on April Fools. Thanks Kogel 🙂

What is NOT funny is that there is probably a Kickstarter campaign out there right now pushing the same idea…. Aprils fools: always blurring the line between jokes and terrible kickstarter ideas…

Someone doesn’t know the current market value of 100 bitcoins… I’d take that deal all day every day.
