If you want to see the future of GPS cycling computers, check our coverage of the upcoming Hammerhead Karoo. We got a sneak peek at Sea Otter, but their team just sent over a few updates with a note that the production version of the operating system is done and is very different than what we saw. In a good way, from the sounds of it. Some of the new or improved features include expanded on board navigation capabilities with additional data fields, new “Routes” app with cached maps and automatically synced routes with your computer, and desktop browser plug-ins for one-click route sharing to your device from Strava, RideWithGPS, MTBproject, etc.

Their pre-order specials are ending soon, with first units on track to ship in August. Get on the invite list on their website here.
