After a several year hiatus, Bike Glow is back in business. Offering eight colors of its highly visible safety system, you can illuminate your ride in style. The waterproof light strand is powered by two AA-batteries, is simple to install, and turns your whole frame into a safety beacon visible up to 500 feet away. Great for visibility during your commute, especially when crossing intersections, or for generally expressing yourself in your day to day, on your local naked bike ride, club night rides, parades- you name it.

But wait, there’s more: if you want to pull the trigger on your own Bike Glow safety light, the brand is offering a discount to Bike Rumor readers. Get your discount code after the jump.

Each Bike Glow light comes as a flexible ten foot long light tube in your choice of white, pink, aqua, purple, green, red, yellow, or blue to match your personal color scheme, and strands can be wrapped in a variety of different styles and paired with other colors for greater effect. The waterproof battery pack is accompanied by an attachment kit and a screwdriver to assist with installation. The light has two states – in steady state, the light lasts a projected 50 hours, but will last a projected 120 hours in flashing mode. The whole weight of the system is 98 grams with batteries installed and the system comes with a full year warranty.

The light is available through your local Bike Glow dealer or through the website for $29.95 MSRP. Bike Rumor readers can take an extra $5.00 off with the coupon code “BikeRumor” through the website store.

Steve, thanks for pointing out the issue with the coupon! We didn’t set the end date correctly when we created it. It’s fixed now, so you should be able to use it on your orders.

Also, the article didn’t mention that we also give free shipping for orders over $100, within the continental USA.

Thanks for checking us out!
