Purveyors of awesome adventure gear, Portland Design Works are at it again. This time, rather than a way to carry cargo on your seatpost with their Bindle Rack, they’re adding a Bundle Roll to your handlebar.

Rather than leaving things to flop around on the handlebars, the Bundle uses a semi-rigid roll that is attached to the bars with an aluminum mounting bracket. Designed to fit 22.0-31.8mm straight, riser, or flared drop bars, the bracket is designed to allow plenty of room for cables while keeping the roll suspended off the frame and fork. However, the whole set up does have a weight limit of 13lb (6kg) including the Bundle roll weight of 820g. Dimensions of the Bundle measure 305 mm (12″) wide x 559 mm (22″) long.

In an effort to make loading and unloading the Bundle as easy as possible, you’ll find compression straps with cam lock buckles on the inside as well as the outside. Additional daisy chains out the outside will allow for the dangle.

Made in the USA out of 1000d Cordura, the Bundle is available in Smoke, Blue, Green, and Red, and sells for $99.

Nice but heavy. That’s 29 ounces, close to two pounds. I appreciate the design, but the aluminum hardware makes it too heavy. The Revelate Sweetroll is almost half the weight of the Bundle and that includes the stuff sack.
