Charge Mixer Urban Bike Carried By Performance

We covered the 29er by Charge, but that was back before they were in America.  Now, UK’s Charge Bikes are in the US, carried exclusively by Performance Bike.  Among many other bikes, they will feature the 2012 Charge Mixer (pictured above), a city bike with an 11 speed internal gear hub, disc brakes, and a Tange prestige frame for an old-school feel.

They’ll be available online for shipping anywhere in North America. Select urban Performance Bike retail shops (think Denver, Portland, etc.) will stock some or all models, but if you’re near a PB store, they can get it in and build it up for you and you’ll be able to take in for any warranty or service concerns as though they were a stockist.

Click here to check out the Mixer at Charge’s website and here to check it out at Performance Bikes.  A couple more bikes featured by Performance after the break along with a Charge video…

Charge Cooker Hi 29er Mountain Bike

This is Charge’s 29er, the Cooker Hi.  It is made of Tange Prestige steel, same as the Mixer. and the disc brakes are hydraulic.  The pricing on it is $999.99 at Performance.  Click here for more info at Charge and here to check it out at Performance’s website.

Charge Juicer Hi Road BikeAnother bike that Performance is carrying is the Juicer Hi.  The frame is Tange Prestige steel.  This looks likes a decent commuter, featuring fenders and a fairly low price of $999.99.  Check out more details on the Juicer Hi at Charge’s website here and Performance’s website here.

A video of the Charge Cooker 29er on the trails.  Enjoy!

I thought that BTI distributed Charge previously…

Found the Charge 29er to be a sturdy, reliable, though not too glamorous of a rolling xc trail bike. The Tange Prestige Cooker, along w/other Charge products, have been available at your US based LBS through BTI for a few seasons now.

Universal Cycles has had them for a while now.

To keep their complete bike pricing competitive, Charge chose a retail partner with a strong dealer network. Performance is actively influencing Charge bike design, pushing for models like the new Cooker 29″. Meanwhile, BTI continues to distribute Charge saddles, bars, cranks, chains, grips and more through your favorite LBS.
