How long are these big Jenson ads going to be showing up in the middle of the page?
Hey AlanM, Jenson is running three survey/contests during this week. The graphic is not necessarily an ad. It’s a graphic announcing the contest and the prize. We hope that you enter!
Is this for USA only?
@Jack: All of these Jenson surveys are open to our global audience. Thanks for asking.
I used to read Bikerumor for its article, not its advertisements now you are trying to advertise for Jensen as pass it off as news. I don’t think so….”.
Gotta make money to pay for the content somehow, we’re certainly not paying a membership fee to the site. The ad is at least tied to a product giveaway from a vendor we all know. If we start getting pop-up ads or auto-play video ads, then I’m out of here, but so far, so good.
@Scott Vines, “Jenson is running three survey/contests during this week. The graphic is not necessarily an ad. It’s a graphic announcing the contest and the prize. We hope that you enter!”
So it’s not paid content? I know this site is free, and that ads pay the bills. I appreciate that and that your ads are largely not annoying. Like David said, I just don’t like ads being passed off as news or as something other than an ad.
All – the contests are a promotion that Jenson USA has paid us to share with you. It costs nothing to enter. Sorry if there is any confusion on this, we’ll try to make it more clear in the future, but generally any contest promoted on this site that has the actual entry form hosted within the post will be a paid promotion.
