In the Canadian Press, Garmin-Chipotle’s David Millar says the feuding between race organizers and cycling’s governing bodies is hurting the sport’s ability to present a unified front and defend itself against attacks from the outside, leaving riders to fend for themselves.  Compared to sports organizations like the NFL, PGA, etc., riders aren’t typically defended by the governing bodies.  In fact, it seems even the riders can exacerbate another riders problems, instead of getting their backs (I’m thinking Greg Lemond vs Lance Armstrong, here) to help the sport as a whole.  Read the article here.
