Regardless of the wheel size, tires are getting bigger. Even though there are very few bikes actually built around 26+ at the moment, that hasn’t stopped WTB from offering another option. While 26 x 3″ tires aren’t exactly new (Gazzaloddi anyone?), WTB claims that the new Ranger is the first tire designed for 26+ that is tubeless ready.
To be available in both 26 x 2.8 and 3.0″ sizes, the Ranger will join the larger wheel sizes in offering TCS Tough casings for better durability. That will mean the Ranger will be sold in 26+, 27+, and 29+ in multiple casings and widths to perfectly fit your needs.

If you’ve missed the WTB Deva saddle from their line up, worry not – the popular shape is back. While none of the actual saddle specs have changed, the Deva does get a new graphic treatment which should be welcomed considering WTB has more men purchasing the saddle than women. Like most of the WTB saddles, it will be offered in Team, Pro, Race, and a Pro Gel model.
Below, WTB was showing their ‘Veteran’s Volt,’ a limited edition. Only 200 of the special saddles will be made and $15 from the sale of each one will go to the Semper Fi fund.
WTB is also changing the branding of their thickslick tires to move if from the budget oriented Freedom line, into the standard WTB line. The tires won’t actually change, just the hot patch on the side.
