Honey Stinger adds Mint Chocolate, Vanilla & Chocolate gluten free waffles

Teased at Sea Otter alongside a smorgasbord of other nutritional products, Honey Stinger’s gluten free waffle lineup has just grown by two. The new flavors are Chocolate Mint and Vanilla & Chocolate, which join existing GF options Cinnamon and Wildflower Honey. MINT CHOCOLATE: Ingredients: Gluten free flour blend (organic rice flour, organic potato starch, organic tapioca flour), organic palm fruit oil, organic brown rice syrup, organic cane sugar, organic eggs, organic cocoa, organic soy flour, sea salt, organic honey, xanthan gum, peppermint and mint extract, baking soda, soy lecithin.

VANILLA & CHOCOLATE: Gluten free flour blend (organic rice flour, organic potato starch, organic tapioca flour), organic palm fruit oil, organic brown rice syrup, organic cane sugar, organic eggs, organic soy flour, organic cocoa, sea salt, organic honey, natural flavor, xanthan gum, baking soda, soy lecithin.

Every time I see these, I just laugh.
The Dutch have had these for decades already. They call them stroopwafels. And they are pretty much guaranteed to be found at any store selling Dutch foods.
And there’s no need to pay over $1.25 each – you can buy a pack of 8 for $3 (cad)….
