If Your Macbook Turned into an Electric Bicycle…

NYC designer Yuji Fujimura’s electric bike concept is quite unlike anything we’ve seen before.  Not only does it resemble a white MacBook, but it has a slot to store your laptop (even if it is a PC) while you’re scootin’ around town attracting stares.

The concept is a battery powered, electric assist bike.  The laptop docking station charges your computer while riding, and it can even connect to a screen visible from the handle bar so you can check your facebook status while riding (though no word on whether you can input..ie. tweet or update status…while riding, sorry Carlton).

If this ever came to reality, I can see the ad placement companies going nuts…heck, they may even subsidize you to ride just so you can be a rolling billboard.

Jack @ electric bicycles

Reminds me of a bike I saw at an expo the other month. It could use only your phone as ignition and you can have it track everywhere you go and upload that info to a website, you could also find out where your friends were while riding using an onboard screen.
