Northwave’s 20th Anniversary Nerowhite shoes come, as the name suggests, with one black and one white shoe. They’re signed by Mr. and Mrs. Piva, owners of the company. They’re essentially the same shoe as the Extreme but with a forefoot strap closure in addition to the wire/ratchet mech.
Not shown, the Extreme gets a matte black color. The Evolution (below) gets updated straps and a new upper that’s thermo welded to save weight and wrap around the foot better. It uses has a thin wood last that helps damp vibration and regulate temperature.
Plenty more new kicks after the break…
The new Evolution road shoe.
The Striker Carbon 5 MTB (top, center) shoe gets a carbon fiber forefoot outsole to keep it stiff where you pedal but remain somewhat flexible elsewhere for hike-a-bikes. The Rebel SBS (right) gets a lighter outsole and the Omega heel cup and reinforced outer edges of the upper. The Extreme Tech MTB (bottom) also gets the matte black color.
The Typhoon road shoes and Tribute and new Extreme triathlon shoes get their Speedplay adapter capability.
The Celcius Arctic gets GoreTex Polar throughout the upper to keep your feet warmer when the temps plummet.
