Kenda is celebrating its 60th anniversary with the release of its most innovative mountain bike tire to date; the Infinity Pro. Designed to keep riders on their toes, the Infinity Pro features their all-new Variable Tread Pattern and Variable Casing Technology to combine the rolling, cornering and side wall support characteristics of the entire range of off-road tires into one tire to rule them all. While not recommended for racing, the Kenda Tire is aimed primarily at those looking to train for unpredictability, providing ample wash-out opportunity with every rotation.

From Kenda:

Utilizing Kenda’s 60 years of heritage and experience in producing bicycle tires we would like to announce the arrival of an all new category of bicycle tire. Aimed at riders looking for that extra unpredictability required for crash avoidance and recovery training.

The Kenda Infinity utilizes Kenda’s all new Variable Tread Pattern technology (VTT) to create a tire like you’ve never seen before. VTT combines the best of Kenda’s tread patterns developed throughout the years into one discontinuous tire tread pattern creating the desired result of washout opportunities at random.

The Kenda Infinity also utilizes another brand new technology from Kenda; Variable Casing Technology (VCT). Like VTT, VCT combines casing structures and characteristics to allow for the desired inconsistencies in stiffness, rollover and ultimate ride feel.

Developed in partnership with some of the top riders in cycling today, the Kenda Infinity fills a segment the community has been pining for but were too afraid to ask. The Kenda Infinity will keep you on your toes and hopefully not on your face.

“Every rider has those “OH CRAP” moments when their wheels slide out from under them, the problem is it’s difficult to train for these moments. With the Kenda Infinity I’ve never felt more uncomfortable on every twist and turn but that is how you grow as a rider, you get out of your comfort zone and you’re better for it in the end” – Kenda Sponsored Athlete and Jorts Endorsor, Ryan Standish.

The Kenda Infinity is available from April 1st 2022, retailing at $79.95. Use discount code APRILFOOLS at checkout for 10% off your order.

I’ll wait for variable bead technology for true semi tubeless inconsistency.

This is GENIUS!! Just one question – Are we to assume the tire has exemplary grip up until it randomly washes out? XD

It began with the molding of the great tires. Three were given to the XC racers, lyrca’d and lightest of all riders. Seven to the trail riders, great techy and line finders of the mountain trails. And nine, nine tires were gifted riders of downhill, who, above all else, desired getting rad.

But they were, all of them, deceived, for another tire was made…
