From the folks that bring you Fat Tire Ale comes some fat tired mayhem.
The New Belgium Brewing Urban Assault Ride is a mix of obstacles, challenges, skill tests and beer drinking in the form of a city-wide scavenger hunt on bicycles.
They’ve got 10 stops planned this year, unfortunately none of which are in their newest distribution market (ie. North Carolina).  I’m happy to report I spotted three of their beers in our local Harris Teeter grocery stores over the weekend, and if my friend Jeremy is to be believed, he’s already bought out one location.  Darn this recession and those $9.00 six-packs.  Quick…click on lots of pages so we can go buy more beer!
