Straight outta Zurich, Switzerland, the people that brought us the Daysaver are at it again. This time, with two new multitool concepts, one dubbed the Daysaver Incredible Multitool, the other, the Incredible Tubeless.

The Incredible touts being fully customizable claiming that “not only can bits be combined exactly as needed. Bikers can also take it with them in the way they prefer. Whether in the bike, on the bike, in the pants/jersey pocket, or in the backpack – the choice is yours“.

Daysaver Incredible Multitool high and low torque

The concept of the Incredible Multitool is that it has the advantages of an Allen wrench, being able to reach all of the screws on your bike while offering two different levers to apply the right amount of torque.

Daysaver Incredible Multitool bit storage

At the same time, the spring-loaded and lockable levers are foldable making the tool easy to store in indiscreet, out-of-the-way areas on your bike. There’s also integrated bit storage, using a sliding, magnetic mechanism that opens and closes allowing for quick and easy access… with or without gloves.

Mix and Match bits for ultimate customization

The MixMatch bits, allow you to customize the bits that you take with you on your ride. Using a proprietary lock interface, the bits can be combined allowing you to bring only the tools you need without bringing the unnecessary. The stainless, hardened steel bits are also available for sale separately as well.

The Incredible Tubeless Tool/Chain Breaker

The Incredible Tubeless tool is another offering that is designed to provide a quick and convenient solution for tubeless tire repair. The tubeless tool is designed so that the plug is already equipped with the plugs while being stowed in the handlebar, making it immediately ready for use.

It uses an aluminum design for durability even when being used with force, important to consider when fixing a broken chain using the tool’s patented chain guide.

To top off the tubeless tool, you’ll find a handy, included blade to remove the protruding plug ends. The blade actually looks large enough to partake in preparing some trailside charcuterie…

So do you have to use their bits? That along with price would be a deal killer. Cost aside I like using Wiha hex bits on bicycle fasteners since they tend to be proprietary, soft, and have sloppy tolerances (Shimano crank pinch bolts I’m looking at you) so it’s probably the only thing I’d want to use in an emergency where a stripped bolt means hiking or wife Uber.

These type of tools does not exactly have excellent value for money, but really beautiful gems for the tool nerd. I have the original daysaver and love it, on each ride I just hope for the bike to break down so I can get it out and use it ;-).
