As riders look to squeeze out every bit of performance and comfort from their bikes, handlebar compliance remains a hot topic. OneUp Components has been ahead of the game since introducing their ovalized handlebar back in 2019, and now that same bar gets a significant compliance boost with V2.

Depending on the size and rise, OneUp claims that their V2 Carbon Handlebar now has up to 33% more vertical compliance. The secret to the bar’s compliance is the ovalized shape, which has been refined for the newest version. OneUp states that the oval shape provides vertical compliance without compromising steering stiffness.

Additionally, OneUp is now offering a dedicated 760mm. Yes, you can cut the 800mm bar all the way down to 740mm, but Oneup points out that any time you cut a bar, you decrease the compliance. So if you know you want a 760mm bar or narrower, starting with the dedicated 760mm bar will give you a more compliant bar in the long run. It also has a smaller ovalized section, which provides more room for cockpit components.
For the 800mm bar, riders will have a new 50mm rise option in addition to the 20 and 35mm rises. The 760mm bar is only offered in 20 and 35mm. The V2 Carbon Handlebar exceeds the Category-5 Gravity EFBE Tri-Test certification and is approved for all riding styles including DH and E-Bikes, in all widths and rises.
All bars have a 35mm diameter clamp and sell for $159.99.
