The Flow Zone’s Q36R debuted in February and we gave it a quick test this summer as a way to make wheel and tire swaps a quicker, tool-free affair.
Now, they’ve made the adapter kit slimmer, making the axle and quick release levers sit closer to the fork’s body. And they’ve dipped a limited amount of the new design into the orange ano bath, matching it to Fox’s 2016 graphics. The kit fits 2015 and 2016 Fox 36 forks and works with both their 15mm and 20mm axles. Besides making trailside repairs a bit easier, it also means you don’t have to whip out the tool to put the bike on a fork-mount roof rack.

Notice how much closer to the fork leg the lever sits in the top image. The parts are the same weight as the originals, but the preload lever sits 4-5mm closer to the leg, and the QR levers on the bottom tuck up closer, too. The changes not only make it look better, but also keep it further from rock strikes, etc.
The orange version retails for $109 while supplies last (only 12 available as of this post going live), and the black ones go for $89.
