Cyclists have been requesting a bolt-on version of Paul’s Quick Release Seat Collar for years. But, there were a lot of seat collars on the market, so the Paul Comp crew didn’t take them too seriously.

With the rising popularity of dropper posts, Paul started thinking more about the seat collar idea. Sometimes, a seat collar that is too tight can bind your dropper post – keeping it from both dropping and returning smoothly.
