The Reynolds ATR fast gravel carbon wheel line-up gets a solid aerodynamic overhaul. Now with wider hookless beads, a slightly deeper profile, and a refined aero shape, the new ATR family is more capable for rough off-road riding. Yet at the same time, the new wheels are significantly lighter than before (shedding 124-140g) AND even bring the cost of entry down for improved affordability. 2025 Reynolds ATR affordable aero carbon gravel wheels

Reynolds has long offered both adventure-focused G-series gravel wheels and the more speed-focused ATR-series aero gravel wheels, letting cyclists pick what’s best for their style of riding. Their All Terrain Road (ATR) aero rim shape hadn’t changed in a surprisingly long time beyond a Blacklabel hub update, while the G-series got a hookless 25mm update a few summers ago.
All-new aerodynamic ATR rim shape

The three new Reynolds ATR gravel wheelsets all share the same new rim shape, reshaped with a 42mm deep blunt-nosed V-shaped ‘DET2’ profile that maxes out at 33.8mm wide outside. Reynolds says their simulation and wind tunnel testing show stable aerodynamic benefits from 35mm up to and including 45mm gravel tires, for maximum on- & off-road versatility.

The ATR line joins the G-series with a 25mm hookless bead designed to support all-road tires from as narrow as 30mm, then all the way up to the widest rubber you can fit in your bike. The thicker, straight-sided beads together with a deep central channel and shoulder bead-lock are said to improve tire fit and low-pressure security, while also improving impact resistance.
