David Byrne, former front man for the Talking Heads, will release his new book, Bicycle Diaries, in September via Penguin Group.
Byrne is a cycling advocate. He helped design some very cool bike racks for NYC (above, more shown after the break).  The book is a travelogue that chronicles Byrne’s journeys in cities around the world from the perspective of a bicycle.
He’s been the subject of a StreetFilms.org project based on riding in NYC.
