Hope has been teasing more colour [sic] customization options for a while, most recently in this over-the-top Team GB red, white & blue Scott Gambler that Hope tricked out for their World Cup Downhiller Adam Brayton. Anyway, now you won’t need to make your national team selection for the World Championships in whatever discipline you ride. Add the same color options for their cranks, brakes, rotors, and more and you can end up with something unique…

Hope has made the jump to make their mountain bike Spiderless chainrings and Retainer Rings available in all six of their anodized colors: black, silver, red, blue, orange, and purple. All of which are designed for single ring setups with either 9, 10, or 11 speed cassettes out back.

The ~70€ direct mount Spiderless rings like Brayton is riding here will give you the cleanest looking setup along with Hope’s own cranks.  They also give you the option to go as low as a 26T or up to a 36T.

The ~60€ Retainer Rings will offer a bit more flexibility, as their narrow-wide design now also comes in MTB friendly 104mm 4-bolt BCD in 30, 32, 34 & 36 toothed versions. Both ring options are available now, through regular Hope retail channels. No word on whether the 96 BCD mountain or 5-bolt 110 BCD for your gravel or cross bike will make the colorful jump too.

“Colour” is how it’s spelled pretty much everywhere in the world other than America. This includes Britain and Canada. Also, “honour”, “neighbour”, “flavour”, “humour”, etc.
Eds.: It’s key that you added humour [sic], since that was kinda the tongue-in-cheek point.
