Prior to that, Tyler launched and built multiple sports nutrition brands and consumer goods companies, mostly as an excuse to travel and ride in new places.

Based in North Carolina, Tyler also loves Overlanding & Vanlife and is always on the lookout for the next vehicle upgrade, secret trail, and off-grid adventure.

A Word from Tyler

I created the cycling website I wanted to read, focused on new products, tech, and the brands who make them.

I launched Bikerumor in 2008 rather than find a “real job”, and built it into the world’s largest cycling tech blog.

My personal interests are road, gravel, mountain biking, travel, fitness, and living the dream.
