Athertons invite you to ride Dyfi Bike Park in Wales – After four years in the making, Dyfi Bike Park on the southern edge of Snowdonia National Park in Wales, UK is finally opening for public bookings to ride their trails. Set within 650 acres of Welsh estate forest, Dan Atherton & his Dyfi Bike Park dig crew have carved out four black trail runs littered with chances to kick your bike in the air.

No ski lifts here, so the park will run a fleet of Landrovers that will uplift you to near the 666m peak at Tarren y Gesail in 11 minutes, where you can bomb back down to sea level again. Actually it looks like trails go 2/3 of the way up, to 400m now, with more in the works!

A day pass will cost you £36, a weekend pass £72, with shuttles running non-stop from 10am-4pm every weekend. Book your spot in advance, as only a limited number of riders get access each day. There are also opportunities for coaching to hone your gravity skills, and in the future will have bikes for rent, too.

Trails are already varied, on the South side of the mountain more mellow slopes & solid dirt were ideal to build the “50 Hits” jumpline trail. Then on the North, slabs of bedrock, roots & rocks offered more naturally technical terrain for true DH tracks. Completely funded out of their own pockets without outside investors or grants, the Dyfi Bike Park are creating a unique riding location that will continue to grow. DyfiBikePark.co.uk
