Trickstuff’s Hydraulic Rotor mechanism, dubbed the Trixer, lets you spin your bar or whip your bike up to 720º endlessly without tangling up your hydraulic brake hose on your frame. Here’s the great Deutsch-like English description:
Now is “bar spin†time, ´cause now you can spin you bar 360° – even with hydraulic disc brakes! Or do you prefer 720°? No problem with the TR!XER which replaces the upper headset cups and allows endless bar spinning.
For Dirt Bikers only!
Looking at this, it doesn’t prevent the bar from getting totally tangled, as the line is still running from the top of the headtube down to the fork, but it prevents the line from getting caught up on the top- and downtubes as you spin through the air. Most likely, the line just starts wrapping around the top of the fork’s crown and requires some slack…and at some point you’re going to have to spin it back around the other way. Thanks to the commenters below for clarifying…when used with a rear brake, it prevents any entanglement of the hose on the bar. For sheer engineered coolness, the Trixer should help keep dirt jumpers from getting their ‘drauls in a bunch.
