In a limited run of just 60 bikes worldwide, OPEN Cycles & ENVE components collaborate again on the ultimate carbon gravel bike build. Starting with the Open U.P. that kickstarted the premium GravelPlus movement, a low-key white paint job gets balanced against the raw UD carbon finish of an Enve G Series carbon stem, handlebar & seatpost.
OPEN x ENVE limited edition U.P. gravel bike collaboration
The whole Open X Enve collaboration is all about creating a unified look for the benchmark in premium gravel bikes. Looking to its roots in the gravel roads of the Swiss Alps the bike gets a light muted gray finish to contrast against the almost black of the UD carbon components.
Open & Enve say this contrast is meant to harken back to the light-colored alpine gravel roads set against the snow-capped peaks, alternating light & dark contrast of dry & wet gravel, asphalt, rock, snow, and mountain faces.
What do you get in the OPEN x ENVE limited collabo?
The limited edition bike kit includes the latest Open U.P. flat mount, 12mm axle gravel frameset (frame, U-turn fork, headset, seat clamp & Carbon-Ti thru-axles) in this exclusive special monochrome paintjob, plus an Enve finishing kit.
That Enve kit includes a G Series carbon Gravel Handlebar, carbon Road stem, and twin-bolt 27.2mm carbon seatpost.
The $3790 / 3790€ Open x Enve UP is available to order direct from Open with only 60 bikes available globally, and no obvious way to pick your desired bar width or stem length.
The Enve cockpit has a retail price of $890, plus the standard $3200 $2900 U.P. price, actually making this limited edition a pretty solid deal a wash on price, so at least the LTD paint job doesn’t cost extra.
Now you just have to figure out how to budget at least an extra $2800 for the latest matching G Series carbon wheelset before you even think about the cost of that new SRAM Red eTap AXS wireless groupset (hint: that’s gonna set you back another $3548 / 3618€, too! Maybe Force eTap AXS will be a more reasonable choice?)
