Twin Six has been producing apparel and a range of beautiful titanium and steel road, gravel, touring, and mountain bike frames for years. In keeping with the times and current trends, the brand recently threw its hat into the 32” ring with the announcement of the new Standard Ti 3X2 frame. Designed with both gravel and/or singletrack in mind, Twin Six intends the Ti 3X2 to be whatever kind of off-road bicycle you want it to be.
And if you’re 32” curious, preorders for the Standard Ti 3X2 are open now, with a $200 pre-order discount until July 6th. That means you can pick up one of these stunning titanium frames for $2,150, but only for a limited time. Let’s check it out.

Twin Six Standard Ti 3X2 Details
In the brand’s own words, “We’ve combined the best aspects of the Twin Six Standard Ti 29/FSU singletrack slayer and our gravel machine, the Standard Ti Rando.” As such, the 3X2 is a cross between the two, a bike intended to be set up for MTB or gravel. They say it has even been designed to work with both drop and flat handlebars.

As the name suggests, the Standard Ti 3X2 is made with titanium tubing, T6 Standard 3.25 titanium tubing to be exact. The frame features 3D-printed Ti TA dropouts and a 3D-printed chainstay yoke that fits chainrings up to 38T. It has classic wishbone seatstays, clearance for 32” tires up to 2.4” wide, 148mm rear axle spacing, and a UDH interface for compatibility with all derailleur setups. The 3X2 takes a 46 x 68mm PF30 bottom bracket and is compatible with flat-mount disc brake calipers.

Twin Six opted for external cable routing with T6 Standard low-profile cable clips, with the exception of the dropper cable, which is routed internally. For the adventurous, there’s no shortage of bottle and accessory mounts. The frames can all fit 2 or 3 bottles in the main triangle, plus another under the downtube, along with a tool/accessory mount under the top tube, and a top-side snack bag mount closer to the stem.
Included with the 3X2 frame is a Wolf Tooth rear axle, Wolf Tooth seatpost clamp, and a UDH derailleur hanger. When purchasing, Twin Six gives you numerous add-on options, so you can get your frame with a carbon fork (+$300), Wolf Tooth Headset (+$80), Berd Hawk 30 Gold Carbon Wheels (+$2,300), Velocity Blunt 35 Comp wheels (+$1,000), and Maxxis Aspen or Teravail Camrock tires (+$175).
