Wahoo’s Kickr trainer, which we reviewed very positively here, is now available with an 11-speed cassette. For a $100 upgrade, it’ll come with a SRAM PG1130 (Rival) cassette. This was, admittedly, a small order for them to test the market for an 11-speed equipped version, so minimums being what they are and all that, the pricing is likely a bit higher than what it should be. You can, after all, get that same cassette for under $70 in most instances. But, if you’re a one-and-done type shopper and have an 11-speed bike, you can get ‘er done with a single click.

And if you’re not quite convinced you should drop $1,099 on a trainer, you can swing by a participating bike shop and try one out during their ‘Ride A Kickr’ promotion. Do so, and you could win a Stages Power Meter just for trying it out. Simply snap a pic of you trying out the Kickr trainer in the store, then email it to Wahoo for a chance to win. They’re giving away one per month through March 2015.
