If you’re not psyched on the cycling truism that junk food is valid nutrition for any purpose, you’re seriously missing out.

Just ask Keegan Swenson.

The American crusher is busy churning toward another Unbound Gravel appearance following his Life Time Grand Prix win last year. He dropped the training edit to prove it yesterday, and the clip is equal parts stoke vid, personal reflection, and roller grill items.

Well, maybe not quite equal. The way Swenson rides, you figure he could really locker away some jalapeño cheddar sausages, ranchero steak & cheese taquitos, and more — but as anyone who’s cranked highway miles in the U.S. knows, there’s a bowel threshold that must be obeyed if productivity, or even basic comfort, is to be preserved.

Yes, at some point, it seems, we all must come to our own hot dog and/or cheeseburger reckoning.

But enough with the American traditional meat sandwich items. Watch Swenson in the aptly-titled Live For This to get a quick sense of where his head, habits, and calves (yikes) are at.

Life Time champ or not, he’ll dive into the Unbound peloton this year thirsty for vengeance — after losing by a bike length last June.

Why don’t these guys fly to races on chartered aircraft like other sports? Surely they’d have better catering.

Quik Trip has these southwest chicken taquitos that are so good! I swear it’s the well seasoned heating rollers that make them amazing. Ditto with their dogs.
