After positive feedback from their stiffer Shimano-only X-Carboring EVO chainrings, the Italian weight weenies at  Carbon-Ti are bringing EVO tech carbon, titanium & aluminum upgrade rings to more cranks and ALL modern groupsets from Shimano, SRAM & Campagnolo. Plus, as more mountain bikes adopt the UDH standard, Carbon-Ti also has new lightweight thru-axles to upgrade your new Trek, Scott & Wilier race bikes…

Carbon-Ti first launched their EVO carbon chainring tech as a SRAM AXS upgrade – somewhat confusingly keeping EVO out of their already long product name. Then, Shimano 12-speed cranks got the upgrade. Now, all of Carbon-Ti’s unique mixed material carbon, titanium & aluminum X-Carboring chainrings feature the same stiffer, lighter EVO tech. That means thicker 3mm carbon big rings with more intricated 3D shift ramp machining, topped by more precisely shaped long-wearing 7075-T6 alloy teeth, and infused with titanium shift pins.

Shimano, SRAM & Campagnolo compatible chainring sizes

Now, these top-tier made-in-Italy Carbon-Ti X-Carboring EVO chainrings are offered in asymmetric 4-bolt 110BCD (modern Shimano) and standard symmetrical road compact 5-bolt 110BCD in 50, 52 & 54T options to work with Shimano 11 & 12sp, Campagnolo 11 & 12sp, and SRAM 11sp. Individual EVO big rings sell for 229€ at 93-115g per ring. Their matching little rings are 181€ and 28-33g.

SRAM AXS 12sp riders (Red, Force & Rival) get specific X-AXS Carborings with the same EVO tech for the same price, in XDR appropriate 50/37, 48/35 & 46/33-tooth gearing combos for use with Flattop chains. X-AXS EVO rings come in asymmetric 4-bolt 107BCD (proprietary SRAM), asymmetric 4-bolt 110BCD (Shimano), and standard symmetrical road compact 5-bolt 110BCD versions.

More mountain bikes moving to the SRAM standard Universal Derailleur Hanger means new bikes need to switch up their thru-axles to 12×1.0 thread pitch. Carbon-Ti has got you covered with the upgrade, though. Now their lightweight alloy X-Lock EVO axles get a few more size options for the same 68€ price tag & 31-32g weights.

The new X-Lock EVO 12×1.0 x 174mm fits the latest 2022+ Trek Supercaliber and Procaliber. And the new X-Lock EVO 12×1.0 x 178.5mm fits the latest 2022 Scott Spark and Wilier Urta SRL. In fact, the new Wilier already comes stock with the new axles, thanks to a partnership with the Wilier Pirelli Team of XC racers.
